bad morning

i was going to take the 9am Greyhound bus out of Boston, so when I got on the T at 8:30, it was the perfect time to take my Dramamine (anti-motion sickness pill) which you're supposed to take 30 mins - 1hr before travel. Unfortunately, the bus was 30 minutes late, and by 9:30 I my blood pressure really dropped and I got the typical weakness, blurred/darkened vision, hearing impairment and was really about to faint as the driver finally pulled up and started taking tickets. It took all the energy I had to remain standing and walk towards the driver. There was really a period of about 2 minutes where I seriously considered getting out of line and lying down on the floor to rest. But there were only 4 people left in front of me so I tried to hold down that instinct. The second I made it up the steps of the bus, I plopped my stuff down onto an empty seat and basically collapsed on the other seat.

That Dramamine is some powerful stuff! I guess now I know how it works.
